NOTION 2.0 is an advanced music program dedicated to bringing a revolutionary degree of realism to the creation and communication of your musical vision. The NOTION playback engine is natively equipped with a library of realistic sampled sounds taken from the musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra, which means that your music goes from inception to realization right away.
NOTION's score-entry interface offers a set of highly-intuitive keyboard shortcuts that make manual entry faster than ever. The NTempo™ feature enables you to take musical ideas even further, offering the opportunity to control the performance tempo in real time.
The software also comes equipped with a built-in audio mixer, including the ability to adjust volume, decay, and panning of each individual instrument. Scores and NTempo sessions can be saved to WAV format, complete with any custom mixer settings. With its variety of practical uses, NOTION offers infinite opportunity for you to discover your true inner musician.
NATURAL TEMPO CONTROL
NOTION's unique NTEMPO feature provides real-time control over tempo, including rubato, fermatas and pauses. An NTEMPO performance feels both natural and spontaneous, and can be used to accompany live performers or as a substitute for absent players.

NOTION's proprietary "TEC Sample Management Engine" allows the user to experience the full palette of sound unique to each instrument without having to deal with MIDI editing and without the need for external software or hardware.

NOTION's carefully-integrated sample library captures the nuance and artistry of some of the world's most talented musicians, and covers the full dynamic and expressive range of each instrument. From the impeccable performances of the London Symphony Orchestra to the jazz and pop styling of Victor and Roy Wooten, NOTION offers a diverse selection of flawlessly recorded sounds and instruments.

We’ve captured the legendary Abbey Road Studios / Studio One room ambience on each recorded tone. NOTION uses the recorded decays in a way that allows for scaling - decays can be reduced by lowering the natural decay factor in the audio mixer. This results in a drier sound for use in live settings where no additional reverb is desired, and can be done globally or on an instrument-by-instrument basis. |
