Instructional & Appearance Settings
Maestro Manager enables educators to assign clef instruction (treble and bass, treble only, bass only or alto only), rhythmic stringency (relaxed or strict), game difficulty (novice or advanced), and the appearance of the notes and instruments (with or without faces) on a group or individual basis.

Games
Each lesson contains an exciting multi-level game to sharpen music skills and improve retention of important lesson concepts. Colorful animated 3-D graphics, digitized sound effects, bonus points and high scores provide fun, interactive entertainment. Users can select novice or advanced difficulty settings.

Music Doodle Pad
This unique feature allows individuals to easily compose their own music using a variety of instrument sounds. These creative compositions can be saved and played back for others, showcasing the knowledge and skills acquired from the lessons and games. Users can also listen to and modify popular music selections from the Jukebox section of the Music Doodle Pad.

Tracking Progress
Special feature tracks an individual's progress through lessons and games. A "completion count" provides the number of times the user has gone through each section of a lesson and "games progress" provides high scores.
EDUCATOR VERSION
Designed for the teaching classroom. Tracks the progress up to 240 students. Licensed for a single computer. Includes 1 CD-ROM, 1 User's Guide and 1 Educator's Guide*.
Educator Lab Packs - These are pre- packaged standard educator versions with a license for multiple seats. Educator Lab Packs are available in 5, 15, and 30 seat configurations. More seats can be added to any of these configurations at an additional charge (see price list). Includes 1 CD-ROM, 1 Educator's Guide* and 1 User's Guide.
Network Version - These versions are designed to run in a networked lab environment. Tracks the progress of up to 3600 students on the network - 60 students per class x 60 classes. Includes 1 CD-ROM, 1 User's Guide, 1 Educator's Guide*, and 1 Network Installation Guide. EDUCATOR'S GUIDE
Each educator version comes with a helpful Educator's Guide. Designed by music educators to maximize the usefulness of each Music Ace product in an educational setting, the Educator's Guide comes in a three-ring binder and includes the following features:
- reproducible black-line masters-lesson progress sheets, award certificates, spelling games with note names, various staff activities, and many other fun tools to enhance the students' music education process
- suggested activities for more creative uses of Music Ace
- detailed matrices of concepts explored in each lesson and game

STUDENT TRACKING

GROUP PROGRESS
Feature unique to network version enables educators to define and arrange up to 60 groups to track the progress of a maximum of 60 students per group. Students' high game scores are compared within each group and progress sheets can be printed as a group.
ACCESS PRIVILEGES
Security feature works with school's pre-determined network password access and login. Allows each student access to their own private Music Ace file. Provides educators special access to all student files and capability to add and delete user files.

Unique feature allows students to easily compose their own music using a variety of instrument sounds, or listen to and modify popular music selections from the Jukebox. The creative compositions can then be saved and played back for others.
